Permission IssuesI've followed directions implicitly on the howtodoit forum and I'm still having issues.
I have several private boards on my site, people that are allowed access have the exact same permissions, yet half can't see the forum at all. I've spent hours trying to figure this out myself, and honestly can't.
Also, my members are saying they've subscribed to topics, but aren't receiving e-mails (yes, I've checked the permissions).
I'm really not trying to be a PITA.

This may be a case of each person having different issues with forum permissions and user permissions.
The easy way around this is to group them all into one group and give that group the correct permissions.

Okay, great - it worked!
Any ideas on the topic notifications? Did I maybe miss a step or screw something up?

As far as i,m aware each member must click the link themselves to be able to watch a topic.

I lied - it didn't work. Well, it worked for maybe half the members I need to have access. They can't even see the board - I've had them log in and out. I know they are on the group, because I sent a mass e-mail out to the group members, and they received it.
Any other tips?

If half are working and half are not, take one member that is working look at there permissions for forum,user and group
And copy them to the ones that are not working.
