There are two things we charge for, and I like it that way:
1) Advert free, which is one of the ways along with owning your own domain that make a forum look "hosted". 2) The export charge, an essential part of a free forum operation. Advert free orders have continued to increase as we have added features. The last export was I believe in January, such orders have basically stopped. I guess people are more and more persuaded that they cannot do better else where, and when you consider: 1) Both phpbb2 and phpbb3 support. 2) Inbuilt template editing. 3) Your forum maintenance done for you. 4) Shop portal, quiz portals, moderator portals... 5) A score of other phpbb2 extras. 6) Great support forum. 7) Massive tutorial resource via howtodoit.  Good reliability.
9) Solid backup system. and probably a load more things. Well look here! http://forum.myfreeforum.org/50reasons.html As I have said before, I do have a forum that is not on the system, it would be technically hard to transfer, but I wish myff had come first, as I'd far rather it was on myff. |
