OMG best headset FTW!All you fps games should go buy these babies, they are absolutely incredible, I used to dj a fair bit so audio quality has always been a strong point for me and these are the nuts, saw them in jan and thought about getting them then, but as I've now got a car to pay for, I think I need to buy bits like this before I can't afford them (yes a shot at petrol prices )

Good shout, my current ones are hanging on by a thread but they do the business so far...wont be long before I replace them and these are certainly a contender.
Playing MOHAA these days, though I have bought COD2 and COD4 (need a new video card before they'll work but I can wait). |

lol i agree i love my surround sound but a head set would be a good idea but it all comes down to money at the end of the day |

headsets for some reason make it much easier to here foot steps in games like counter strike, when I started out with my speakers, I would be plain guessing, now with the headset I'm able to pick up on the little things that I didn't really focus much attention on with speakers. |

Nick, we should play CSS sometime. I just re-installed and updated it. Only took about 30mins which was a surprise cos it normally takes 30 hours lol.
OT: I bought myself a cheap headset yesterday in Game for £15. They are quite good, but i already broke the mic. |

Ohh, they look good. Not really interested in the game, and it does say 'bundle', not 'free game', so you are paying for it. I'll stick with the cheap ones i bought. The mic sucks, but the sound is really good quality. |

They are just over £34, so they are more expensive but they are made by one of the biggest brand names in audio, so you know they are going to be good. |

I'd recommend some of the Turtle Beach headsets aswell.. The Ear Force X52's for that sort of price range. | ||||

Nick, im thinking about buying that headset cos it has quite good reviews, and i need a new one as the one i bought from game.. well, lets just say it was £15 down the pan.
But, on a scale of 1 to 10, how high would you rate these? This way, if i spend 30 quid on them and dont like them i can hold you solely responsible, hunt you down and shove em where the sun doesnt shine... (And Viper, get on msn buddy) |

10/10 no ends mate, I listen to metal as you may know and the quality coming through these is incredible to say the least, comes out exactly like any high end stereo does, pls note that this is the ONLY creative product I own purely as I despise such an awful company through lack of product support via their site, these however will need no support, therefore made my decision much easier.
viper send me your headset and I'll test and review the quality as I don't feel like spending my money, I will(not) send them back honest

That would be difficult. I RMA'd them last week. Seems they were faulty. Mic didn't work (never used it anyway), the tiniest screw you have ever seen fell out of the earpiece which then came loose. They offered me a new headset replacement which I deliberated over for about half a second. 
Can't argue with their support though! They e-mailed me on a Saturday and Sunday. |
