header & footerhttp://pi.ford3.myfastforum.orgsince the change where im now unable to edit templates unless copied ive been struggling. i posted before that my logo wasnt tranfering when i copied the template black-red, this is no longer a problem, ive managed to copy my template ready for editing. preveiwed and alls good. i want to get to the header & footer codes so i can make some adjustments, i cant suss out how to get this up, i can manage to edit the imageset and themes but just cant get to the templates. my copied template isnt there. it is in the styles section but not on the template section. i installed it when i copied it that bits fine, just cant get into the template bit as the one that represents my forum is black box_red and theres no pi.myfastforum.org4 being my succesfuly copied style/template.. hope you understand me 
dont think i could provide a link to this as its in my admin panel. im sure its just something daft that im doing wrong but any help would be gr8 also i have check howtodoit and on here and not managed to find my answer. so to sum it up.... how do i get back to my footer & header codes since the change was made on not being able to change templates unless copied ?? thank you in advance |

The templates you want to edit do not seem to be actually there as templates  Look at the style details and the template is blackbox.
You will need to delete those styles and copy again I think. |

ok. deleted my copied styles, copied them again to pi.myfastforum.org1. alls fine with the copy, images and every thing is where it should be when previewed .. still unable to change template. i thought maybe if i copied pi.myfastforum.org1 to pi.myfastforum.org2 it might let me change the template.. which it didnt. .
really confused on this, i just hope i dont loose my style/template/imageset in the process 
any furhter help/advice you can give would be brill. cheers admin

i love the way you bust into my admin panel using the editor who doesnt have admin power, its like rambo kicking the doors off a mud hut.

pmsl works fine now. you did scare me when i see you in the admin panel lol  , alls good now

The editor must have admin power! or I could not have got to the admin panel. It was not your fault, it was a bug when copying styles where the style name and the template name are different

editor doesnt have admin power, for security purposes i removed them ages ago. its shows on my admin log the editor being blue (registered user) color ???

my bad.. when i removed editor from admin group he kept all his permissions.. oops
