Some speed ups of gallery/web functions planned.I have just realized that web page and gallery requests are unable to respond properly to a so called "conditional get" request. Implementing this should add a little speed 
It has to be said that an awful lot of the web does not do this, as there are browser issues to deal with. But I think our code is mature enough in these areas for this not to complicate things too much.

This work does seem to have exposed a few bugs in the system, even some missing graphics file in the admin panel!
Will be putting this in place only after a lot more inspection.
