8 posts is not enough to open a forum To advertise for a co - admin , or even to think of making someone you dont know a co admin , is asking for your forum to be trashed bad. A forum needs only 1 admin. |

well some of the best forums with the most post and members like swapitshop lounge have 2 amins if you mean becase there are hardlly any members i agree but if not i think you are wrong. And thanks for the tips |

No it will stay.. And swapitshop has had it problems in the past with a rouge Admin. But you are advertising for a co-admin ??? Take a little time to read some of the horror stories on here, where a rouge admin has killed the forum. |

Most forums that have two admins, are admins that know eachother personally....
And they started the forum together.... Meaning they both had interests in making it so both decided to work on the same forum. Asking some one for a admin possion without knowing them or if they are even interested in your forum at all, is very bad. Maybe that person will lie and say that he would like the job and is very nice to the members and can make your forum a vbulletin for free. Would you believe him? No, i dought you would, same with admin possition, they make lies then sooner or later. BAM! Your main admin account (yours) is deleted and you have no way to get back to the forum other then paying for a forum restore which i think is possbile. Not sure really. So just don't give out any one you dont know personally (in real life like friends in your hometown) a admin job. |
