I can't find a suggestions forum  
so I thought I'd post my idea here...... (I would post it in PhpBB3 suggestions forum, but this really isn't phpbb3 based)
My idea:
Allow users to sign up for a 'global account'. Once you sign up for 1 forum, you don't have to sign up for others, you just enter your Global Forum Id on the registration screen and it auto signs you up per say. Sort of an expansion on My Free Friends. *

Now for options you could have
Allow Global Accounts: () Yes () No
In admin configuration.

To also prevent it from being a spammers best friend you could still add Image Verification and/or E-mail verification so spammers can't take advantage of it when someone enters a Global Id to sign up with on a forum.

*- Get advance, show a list of forums that user signed up on, and set a global profile.
Could also be helpful for support people if they need to sign up to see something.

We have sort of done this via the arcade and myfreefriends, but I would be pretty uncomfortable about this on forums in general. Even if you could disable it on a forum, it would still be a little imposing detracting from the idea that people are running their OWN forum.
