I am trying to set up my new forum andwas going to make my first post but there is no button to start a new post. I'm not sure if I disabled it somehow when setting up but it is not there.
Thanks in advance

You don't seem to have any forums, only forum categories.

Well, looks like you figured it out, great job. I like your welcome message, by the way. It sets the tone for the forum.

Thanks to admin, I did figure it out. He made me *think* about it and I was lucky to make a few changes to make it work.
On to my next question...I find the address way too long (mywynyard.myfastforum.org) and would like to shorten it to simply: mywynyard.com
I saw an option somewhere here where I could buy my domain for about $15 which is OK with me but have since misplaced the link. Will my present site automatically switch over to the one I just implemented or do I have to start all over? Will there still be some advertising on it? Is there a way to shrink the 'phpbb' logo?
Thanks for the kind words, GentleD

It's possible to have your forum as mywynyard.com, yes, but it will cost you as you mentioned. You can get domains from anywhere as long as they allow you to change nameservers, the link you saw was an affiliate one that myff have set up. There are no advantages to using this link other than supporting myff. Simply purchase your domain through a registrar (or use the affiliate link that supports myff) then change the nameservers to those listed here then follow the instructions to request mapping.
