My New Freak... I mean Mouse.Well, as it was my birthday this past sunday, and i needed a new mouse, i thought that i would go buy one.
I had seen the mouse advertised in Pc Gaming magazines, with mostly great reviews.
I went to PC World on Monday, but they didnt have any (And if they did, they would of over charged anyway)
So, i came home and looked around the web. And mananged to find it for £33.99. RRP Is £39.99, so wasnt that bad.
Anyway, i just relised i havnt said what im talking about. The mouse i bought is from Saitek. Its called the Cyborg Gaming Mouse, and it is the freakiest looking mouse ever.
Its very cool though. It has an electronic surface that adjusts to fit the size of your hand, and it has a 'wing' on the left side with a directional pad, thumb button and 2 more buttons for browsing the web. They can all be customised.
Also, it has a clever little feature that allows you to set profiles (Profiles for a mouse.. What next?). So you could set one profile for gaming, with a high DPI and use the buttons for hotkeys, and one for browsing the web ect.
Now, i wouldnt recommend this mouse for people who arnt open to new things, as it takes a bit of getting used too. I still try and hold it like my old 'traditional' shapped mouse sometimes, as i forget the 'wing' is there. You really need to hold it yourself to understand what i mean.
I could babble on (heh, babble, thats an odd word) about the features until my fingers are numb from typing, cos this mouse can do so much. My friend has one too, and he said with the amount of macros and stuff you can set for the hotkeys, it will soon replace his keyboard.
Anyway. Only started this thread to write a little discription and post a pic, and its turned into a huge review, so i'll stop now before it gets any longer.
