Maybe a good guide?Well, from the howtodoit site I followed a link to funnyworld.myfreeforum.org and ran across this sticky:the A-Z of how to build a successful forum Some of it is outdated (it's not against ToC to make a forum unavailable to guests - but it's still stupid), but majority of it is good information, I'd say. after reading through it I did change up my own forum some, removing little-used forums and condensing them into others that fit a similar general theme. I also changed some of the descriptions to better clarify what they were for. In general I cleaned up the forum, and I'm happy with it now. Just thought I would share it for other people that might want some tips, and maybe feedback from other successful forum owners to see how useful they think it is. |
