I am an old cynic, they did not really do all that much that demonstrated anything very useful.
e.g. the camera conveniently transfers just a single photo to the desktop, and then to a phone. Most of that is simply existing wireless tech and what they did ignores the usual issues when transferring photos, like the fact there are many photos and they need filing.
Some touch tech is clearly great though, the touchscreen interface on my satnav is excellent

Yeah, i'm pretty sure what everyone is saying is so great is the touch tech, not so much uploading the photos.

Whats even funny I left the computer on the support forum and came back my mom was searching medical stuff but was using the Search bar at the top and she was wondering why nothing showed up .

it looks good i have to say. but for me that kind of thing is useless. why? well because im a gamer and i need a mouse/controller in my hand. the only touch screen technology that is good in gaming is on the nintendo DS as it adds another dimension especially with the 2 screens. for FPS or RTS, gimmie a laptop and mouse rather than a hoofing great table which might be of use holding my pint glass....

watch it again please, they said $5000 to $10,000.

And I highly doubt anyone other than celebs would buy it, I'd have better things to spend my money on, oh and this wont go on sale for the date they specify, remember this has more going into than vista and that got delayed for over a year and a half.
