This is the second time I have changed the logo to suit our template, but this time it just isnt changing, despite it saying it has changed in the edit templates/logo section

Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

Without know exactly what you are doing it is hard to tell, you need to think of information you can give us beyond vague "not working" statements.

What template are you editing?

What logo are you uploading?

What is your forums default template?

What are you clicking on in the template editor?

The template I am editing is myfu_minime1, I am uploading a logo that I made myself using photoshop, the forums default template is the one I am editing, which is one that I created using the RedIce template.

In the template editor, I browsed my computer then uploaded the image, I then select image and in image preview it changes to what I want it to be, but it doesnt change on the actual forum

Previewing an image just previews an image.

Are you clicking on the "Use an main logo" button?

Ive clicked the Make default button?! But cant see the use as main logo button

Not all templates have it. If there is no such button then you have to change the logo manually in overall_header.tpl replace the main logo filename with your own.

Ok I found out how to change it, but instead of my logo being there it now has a box with a little red cross in it.

There is no room for error:

is what you have set, but I expect your uploaded logo has a slightly different name.

that is what I saved it as minimelogo, that link doesnt work?!?! Is it meant to?

You have to be exact. You did not save it under the name you say you did.

That is because the link to your logo is not correct ,,, you have it as

http://minime.myfunforum.org/temp...yfu_minime1/images/minimelogo.gif

which is a broken image, so this means 1 of 2 things

1. the image is not at that location

2. the link is linking to the wrong location.

I've tried uploading the file and have it changed in imageset. and the new logo is showing in there set as main logo, and i've cleared the cache, I've also been looking in overall_header but can't find the image name to rename my image as the same.

I'm using aeroblue and wondered if it is at all possible to change the logo on this template. It'something I've been trying for a few weeks now and I wouldnt ask unless i've got the end of trying things.

The image is a mosaic:

and will be defined in the css, this is not a straight forward replaceable logo. You need to know what you are doing there.

If I upped a logo would there be any mods or admin that know what there doing be availbale to change it please.  

I'm gonna be buying some books and going to try and learn some more basics instead of hassling you fine people on here all the time.

The only way to change such a logo without a lot of effort is to upload a logo of the exact same size, then manually replace one logo with the other once you have found it in the themes css.

Another option, if you make a small logo, or change the table to span 2 columns and put the logo in there, there is a div with a logo class, use that for the logo.

Thanks for your responses. would you know the size for the logo on aeroblue or could you point me to where i could find it.
