Linking to Photobucket PhotosHi,Just wondering what MFFs view would be of a forum that has linked to someones photos in a photobucket album that is set to private. They got the link by stealing it from where it was originally published. The admin of the forum in question has been asked to remove the photo but has so far refused to do it and instead has just sent abusive replies to the photo owner. I'm not giving the forum's name yet as I am trying to give them one last chance before I have to name and shame them again. Thanks for your help |

Yes I've not posted the links yet as I just want an answer as to whether MFF would consider that wrong first and then I will be sending a link to this post to the person using the pictures even though he has been asked not to, to give him a final chance to sort it out before we go and name his forum to allow him to save some face. If he still chooses not to remove the photo then links would be provided showing he is using the photo without the owners permission. Edit: I've just checked his site and now its asking me to log in to view that page so he has obviously seen my post here and moved it to his members only section to stop us from being able to complain about it. |

If you still wish to complain post a link to the forum etc and Admin will look in to it.
You can also contact photo bucket, however if they have made it a public Album then not a lot could be done. |

I don't think we will bother to complain now as most of his members now know what he has done and it's just driven another nail into his forums coffin but thanks for the help anyhow. | ||
