Many of you are thinking "nutin' but spam and it vialates T&C" WRONG. I already asked Admin if its cool he said yes under a few conditions.... The forums must be a "forum" meaning it has to well moderated with spam to a minimal. F/A/Qs Q)Point of Link Exchange? A)Exchange Links with other forum owners to help better your both forums grow! Doing so Can earn you a higher spot in Search Engines, TOO! ------------------------------------ Q)Does this cost anything. A)Nope completly free to join! ------------------------------------ Q)What username must I sign up with? A)Your one that you use on the Support Forum. E.G. I use Codyt07 if I Signed Up. ------------------------------------ Q)If I admin Several Forum may I post them all? A)Yes no limit on how many (non-spamed) forums and you may post! ------------------------------------ Q)What is "Link Echange?" A)Lets say I linked exchange with the support forum (for example). The support forum would have an area dedicated to link Exchanges and so would I on Link Exchange. In that area we post each others banners,logos, or simple links. Say on the Support forum the admin would post a link to link exchange and on link exchange i would post a link to the support forum. Or Banners. ------------------------------------ Q)Whats the Catch? A)There is none. Your forum has to be well moderate and you must have an easy to see area to link exchanges. All I ask in return is to link to link Exchange. ------------------------------------ Q)Any Mods on the Forum? A)Currently no. This Forum just started yesterday. And we do have a few members at the current moment. However and Support forum mods that join are automatically Moderators. Don't think you can sign up as "symon or viper" and claim that your them. Make sure your board is "moderated". Admin told me that some people are just creating forums just to have links so they have a better spot in google. meaning they create a forum with just links to a website they run. so i want to make sure the forum being link exchange is a "forum".
This forum he said is okay and is a benefiet to us all. Its okay though that you signed up as brandon. I still found you on the support forum member list 2 sign ups in one day

To address the issue of spam, yes we do come down heavy on people abusing free forums to promote stuff, we would come down heavy on someone creating "link farms" within the system even if it was to promote myfreeforum forums, if that is the intention was to promote just a few forums.
But having a few link farms spread across myfree and myfast domains, aimed at promoting a wide range of good forums is clearly benign and would help all the forums in the farm. |

I'm jsut hopeing it wont become a spam forum. I'm keeping a close eye on the sign ups. most signs up how ever occur when im asleep 1:00am to 10:00am GMT-6 so im hopeing i can find a few good mods to help me out.
Also how many forums would you say i need before its cool in the T&C its been open for 1 day already 7 members it says 9 but that includes me and "editor". There is one inactive member guess they didnt get the required e mail code. I did notice some one posted a link to a freewebs site related to their forum. Should i allow this? or delete it? |

Can i add my LocoRoco forum to your link exchange http://locoroco.myfastforum.org, i know it hasnt got many members or articles yet, but thats why i need to link exchange in the 1st place! I can prove that i keep my forums spam free and well moderated at http://shearwaterpirates.myfastforum.org in case you were concerned.

Well yea, it'll prob take a while if your using dial-up. But i'd say the majority of people use Broadband. It takes me literally 2 secs to load it up. Ive used this style for a while now and ive never had any complaints about speed, and as you can see ShearWater Pirates (which has the same basic design) is pretty popular. Im sure someone would have pointed out a load problem.
Its alright though now, LocoRoco is really kicking off, 6 members in under 12 hours! We already have 29 articles, and we are affiliated with a successful LocoRoco website that are gonna advertise the forum in their Podcasts. Good day on LocoRoco Forums

Actually link exchange was not a MFF first, it has been done before, unsuccesfully. and many people have link exchanging on there forums anyway, not many people can offer the total freedom to ask for somthing and get it! | ||||

There are many forums out there that offer this service, and have done for a long time, it wouldnt be fair to sticky one and not the others.
Unless admin see fit to of course, Not even howtodoit is a sticky

Still no reason to bump it tho, just throw some info up in future please Cody. May be no point in posting a pointless update, but it may tempt some more people to join if they see some new info rather than just a *bump* If other members really wanted to they could go and bump every one of their forums for no reason and where would that put yours, I'm guessing somewhere down on page 5 or 6, but other members don't they actually post an update. |

im trying to get the forum up and running again. A template that will stay for a long time has been added and moded with some subs and duals portal. Sign up if you want your forum to be bigger. | ||||

I added the birthday hack to it. Deleted the annoying fader thing i had, Advertising a forum has a few ways. Banner exchange, link exchange, member exchange (something im seeing going on now). and the google bot which its everys forum admin dream to see a google bot is on their site. Site my be going slow, remember to respond to threads that other people have started |

Going to bump this old topic, the forum I noticed got somewhat more active then what it has been in the last month, seems though other forums linking to it is increasing it some, so I'm open to link exchange with link exchange forums.
Also all inactive members were deleted a while back |
