How long does it usually take to get members to join a forum?

I always seem to have 1 guest visiting, but I've no joining members I know it's early days, I'm still trying to add more topics, but It would be nice to have some people join to spur me on lol

I can't wait to interact with other members, and I really want to put my all into this project ..am I being too impatient?

With 100,s of forums out there its a cut throat game to keep members, alot of people think a good forum is all about the extras and concentrate on them more than their posts.

Others think that spam and games that promote spam is the way forward.

Myself when i look for a forum to join i look for a nice clean looking forum with good honest posts and an admin that doesnt think he/she is god.

Just leave a lijnk in your sig on any forum you belong to , leave a link in your myspace, facebook, beebo etc also on msn

Cheers Symon ...I'm just a down to earth person bursting with energy...i'll have to learn to be more patient and see what happens I guess lol..thanks for the tips, I didnt think to leave my addy in my usual haunts ! DOH
