I know the feeling
If only people would make a stab at the following life here would be so much easier for all.
1) Follow the checklist. It ain't rocket science.
2) If you want to do a ton of template mods, then LEARN html, you cannot apply edits in ignorance. We can willingly support someone who just wants to add a few things and then get on with actually running a forum, but if playing with templates is what you want to do, then it is sheer lazyness to expect others to do the work for you. HTML is NOT rocket science.
3) Don't be terminally lazy, no one wants to help someone who cannot be bothered to do anything for themselves, like even read the announcements.
4) When we ask you to answer a question repeatedly, then we need the answer. Yes that probably involves you reading what we say, and doing something.
actually all those points are about the keyword LAZY not even on a support forum, where you are paying for support, heck not even on paid support I do for very large sums of money, does it work that someone does it for you. People pay myff parents company more per hour for support than you could possibly believe and still don't get their jobs done for them.
Support is about dealing with actual issues where there is a problem with a forum that is our responsibility and about teaching people to run their forums. So they need to be prepared to put effort into learning in proportion to the advanced editing they want to do.
