Im finished schoolGet in, Im 16 and I've recently finished school, I only have to go into school when I have an exam now, so in a few weeks I will be finished for good.

Im leaving school after my GCSE's, then in september I will be going to college to do a BTEC National course in computering

Thats how i felt years back but then the big wide world is out there, job to get and hang on to, bills to pay, get nicked now and your done for, maybe kids and a dog and a mortgage ,,, oh the joys of carefree school days

Try working somtimes overt 100 hours a week like i use to do. sometimes working 18 hours aday, well at least the money was good

I just finished school as well. Just done my GCSE RE exam all i have to come back for is exams in june!
Then in september i start a course doing PC Servicing And Network Maintenience. I also have a place at HP's South West HQ Repairing computers (Unfortunatly i cant start until Feb 07) earning £6.25 PH

maybe he dropped out of highschool at 14, or maybe he's computer genuis so he could go instantly to college
but i wish i was done with school, i graduate june 22, then it's off to highschool!

Well my boring old farts advice is to take all the education you can get. I got impatient with education and set up my own software company in the early 1980's dropping out of a college computer course to do so. When I later needed a "real" job, several years of running my own computer business seemed to have given me no credability at all  companies want diplomas

Trust me martin i agree, even tho i left school today i am missing the place already and am looking forward to collage!
Hopefully after the one year course in PC servicing i will go on to do the 2 year software development course then maybe 1 year in programming. And if you think thats getting a bit 'ahead' of myself - When i was about 10 i wanted to go striaght to Secondary school - You can see the pattern!

NO... it's totaly illegal to not go to school in the USA if u can help it... but once you get older you have a little bit more freedom- i think in high school! however, we don't REaLLY inforce it here
and i'm only 14- i sill have 4-5 weeks left of school!!!
