I think there is some curse hanging over my head with respect to this forum.

I dont log in that often, but I seem to go through hell remembering my password.

I have a palm pilot where I try to religiously record every password of every forum.

Just now, I got fooled by a bogus link which is forums.myfreeforum.org

The phoney name is forums.myfreeforum.org

I kept trying to log in, and finally joined in desperation, under a new name.

Then I realized it was a phoney site.

THen i realized that this is forum.myfreeforum.org, and with much difficulty was able to log in as Sitaram, and then I changed my password and placed it in my palm pilot.

Do you mean that because I joined, I will now be spammed to death?

What does it mean to say that all the forum is is spam?

I dont understand?

What implication does that have for me and the fact that I was tricked into joining.

I immediately modified my profile there to change the password to a phoney password, and a phoney email address. Unfortunately, there is no way to UNJOIN a phpbb forum, as far as I can see.

All i was saying when I seen it, all I seen was threads with just random letters. Changing your e-mail to a phonney one is usually smart.
