I have lost one of my dearest forum members, he has died this day and body was discovered by police, as we had not seen him online and someone called Florida police to go check on him, and they found him dead in his apartment. It hurts terribly as he was a dear friend to many not only online but in real life.

It really goes to prove that friends made via boards and blogs are just as important, if not more so sometimes, as real life friends.

I second that Jac, it really annoys me when people say "but people online aren't real..." I'm real and have feelings so it stands to reason that other internet users are the same in my book.

Thank you guys, yes, online friends can hold dear in your heart as ones in real and even sometimes more. My forum son as I referred to him is no longer but he will be truly missed, he was a vital part of my community. and he was loved by ALL not just me.
