hi i would like to make a complaint against a forum owner he has basicly copy and pasted all the content from my forum and is now using as his own this is his forum http://nucleardemonfusionrp.myfreeforum.org/

and this is my forum with all the original content, just check the dates that things were added as that should be proof enough

my username is cupra_andy thankyou fo taking time to read this and i hope you will be able to help me on this matter as i spend a long time adding content into my forums and its not nice when someone just steals it all without permission.

The only thing i can see what they have done is to copy the category and forum titles , i do not see any posts that have been copied.

It is very bad practice to do this , but not against the terms and conditions, copying post or ripping content from one forum to another is a different story.

Admin will advise more and give his verdict , but i feel that with no posts, it will be left until they step out of line further.

ok they have removed some of the stuff copyed from my forums now but i will look out for any of my content being stolen in the future and will make a complaint then as im sure this will happen as they dont have there own minds lol, anyway thankyou for taking a look at this for me and i hope you understand why it made me angry. (if only you had seen it befor they deleted the topics they stole)

As Symon says even the copying of titles and descriptions is very bad practice, something I am in two minds about getting tougher on.

It certainly red flags lazy intentions!

thats my point it is very lazy to goto another forum and steal ideas, but anyway im glad you agree with me that this is not good practice and i will leave it to you to make your decision on this matter, and once again thankyou very much for taking the time to look at this issue for me.

i just wondered if there was an outcome to this matter? or is this something that you have not decided about yet, and btw now the owner of this forum has given me credit for helping him make his forum, lol i dont even know the person so how the hell could i help him with his forums, maybe he saw this post and thought he better do something about his forums. anyway if you could just let me know if anything, or nothing is gonna be done just so i know that would be appreciated.

As stated the current policy is not to enforce on forum titles and descriptions as they are often inherently similar.

ok i understand that this would be difficult to enforce thankyou for the quick reply though.
this topic may as well be locked or removed now as i have the answers i needed.
