This forum is facing legal threats and thus far there is no response from the forum owner, hence it has been suspended.

Given the contentious nature of the forum it is unlikely we can continue to host, but we can make a free forum export available as I almost certainly support what the forum is about. However we cannot fight the legal battles for you.

Hi, As a Moderator on the grandepalisadesinvestor website I am obviously interested in having it reinstated ASAP. Is it possible to have details of the legal threats sent to my email address?

There are literally hundreds of investors who are keen take on these people and we appreciate the availablity of a resource like myfreeforum to help us do so. That said we appreciate you can not become involved in any legal actions, and would not expect you to, but we would like the opportunity to respond to their 'threats'.

Details were sent to the owner, who is the only person we can send such info to.

Frankly I don't see reinstatement as viable. But a free export will be  available to the owner.

Thanks, we're following up with the forum owner.

We would be prepared to respond to the 'legal threats' and I'm sure they are just 'threats' as that appears to be the nature of these people.

If we have the opportunity of removing their threats and gettting the forum back up that would be the best result as they are already losing the battle in the courts in the USA.

The problem for us is that such a forum will almost certainly fall into the trap of disgruntled members making dodgy statements, and the threats are issued legally and hence we must regard them seriously.

Even if the owner was being responsive the situation would still be untenable for us. You need to be with a large paid host where your owner is the absolutely clear legal target.

As it is we would argue your owner is the only proper legal target, but that is still an argument that is not fully settled in the UK legal system currently.

I understand the forum owner has emailed you, but is in Australia until the end of September and doesn't have easy access to email.

Is it possible to replace the default page that comes up for the old forum with either a message redirecting to another forum or an email address that people can contact for further information? (I would be happy to supply an email address and would seek confirmation for you from the forum owner.)
