A lot of forums are started by teenagers who may be quite ignorant, and I can even to some degree excuse laziness and people thinking it doesn't really matter.
What matters more to me is whether people are congenitally prone to this sort of thing. |

I personally would not go that far. Adding a line of copyright text is one thing, but going to the length of screenshots seems overboard.
If people do copy, where there is a copyright notice, then they can continue to get their forums suspended. |

I don't think anything can stop people but it is a good idea what admin said, it might put some people off but thats about it. When i became a mod for a forum which was before i created my 1st board a guy copied not only the messages but the layout of all the categories and when i told the admin of the forum he said just leave it his forum won't go that far anyway. I don't no if its still going but the last time i looked he had only got 3 members perhaps all the same person but my point is there will alway's be someone who does it. The ones i don't like are the ones who copy something and then try to make it there's by editing some of the message and/or just its header. Is there anything else we can do to help out people off from copying? |

I think the consolation is that, people to lazy to do their own work, are too lazy to really build a popular forum. | ||
