Google gmail down Tuesdayhttp://www.theregister.co.uk/2009/09/02/google_explains_gmail_outage/For one hour and 40 minutes. As we have been fighting our own demons in the last month or two it does give me some relief to see even google can have problems. Any complex system has a lot of potential issues, but I am finally pleased to say that we are in a much better state on the servers than we were when the current round of problems started. Only a fool would say "problem solved/mission accomplished" but if there ever was day to feel good about what has been accomplished this is probably it. |
