Good Bye Screen

I have the login/logout portal set up and want it to show a goodbye.html when you logout using that portal. I have deleted the Login/Logout bit at the top near all the links, i.e FAQ, Memberlist.

My goodbye page is http://cooklikeapro.myfreeforum.org/thankyou.html

I can't help thinking wee2john that you are spending a little too much time on the 'frills' of the forum system and not enough on the substance.

It is commendable that you are learning all about the fancy bits you can have on your forum, though I do feel at 5 posts that maybe you aren't putting enough effort into the part that matters, and that is the actual content.

Just a friendly observation  Wink

Iknowwhat you mean. I am making it a bit fancy and not that appealing to people. I was just thinking that this evening. I will start wising up and really making it good wonce I have completed this. How do you do it? from after this i will definately focus on more important things.
Bravo

I would say a good 50 posts or so from you just to get things going.

Are you a chef?  Maybe get some recipe sections going, or perhaps divide into food groups (such as fish, meat, rice etc) and get some recipes/posts/discussions started in each section.

Nobody joins an empty forum, put yourself in your readers shoes, what does your forum offer them?  And just take it from there
wee2john

yes i am a chef but only training (im 15).  Go to my forum (look at sig to see what you think - no posts yet but building topics before that.
