Mike, me thinks you need to copyright your forums content and state that permission is needed to use any of it, failure to seek permission will result in the offender being reported, or something very similar to that anyways.

Thanks you two, what are these rules on owning what we post etc?? I know a small handfull of other forums on MyFreeForum that have copied my forums rules, and guides etc

This is the wrong place to come for a definative view on international copyright law! I may make the odd general comment, but it would be foolish for me to lay down specifics when I am not legally qualified to do so.

I recommend just following the myfreeforum "play nice" rules.

This applies to yourself as well as others.

If a forum has ripped off your posts, ask yourself are they just being naive and stupid and should you make a first move of politely asking them to remove the posts?

If on the other hand we are talking about a malicious offender, then report as you have done, and we will given the evidence of the rip off and some additional evidence indicating malice suspend the forum.
