Flight Sim ForumA forum for all those Microsoft Flight Simulator X fans out their, this forum has many things and although its new i have been building up the aricals before advertising it as their are a lot of things to cover in flight sim games like guides on how to land planes etc etc.
Also for those who fly online my brother has a session he sets up every night with routes already listed on the forum which are subject to change if and when he feels thewy need updating.
This forum at the moment needs a few things the most important things are more content, more members and of course a banner which is currently been looked into by some members of the forum.
More guides will be added when i have wrote them out but for now the guides that are up are for the Boeing 747, the most successfull airliner to date then their is the new Boeing 787 which is a whole new plane and brings a whole new way of landing planes, this is by far the most challanging plane to land even real world pilots agree this plane is hard to land.
We have a download section and although no downloads which are links to sites that offer downloads, they are all freeware, we offer liveries to the default FSX planes and of course many of the popular planes like the Airbuses, Boeing's etc etc, all listed with pictures showing you what the planes look like and a little discription from the aurther of the plane him/her self.
At a later date their will be the Microsoft Simulator 2004 (FS9) section added for those who use that simulator for what ever reason, as will more sections for other flight simulator games and real aviation of course.
In order to use the download and mutiplayer sections you must register, but all other sections are available for guests to view. Hope you like this forum, and hope to see you at this new forum http://flightsimforum.myfanforum.org/index.php.
Best wishes
Roy.

A lot has changed since i started this thread and some of it has been interesting, we now have 8 members with loads of content covering links to downloads for planes, liveries to add to your original FSX planes some strange planes aswell, since when did the USS Enterprise feature in FSX, or the millenium falcon well they do now and we have links for them too.
Some impressive screenshots of the alps and an airport many people try to land at some guides to help you learn how to fly some of the planes, a new template which is been concidered now and a banner that is starting to take shape.
So much and so much more to be done an admins job is never over. but then i love forums and i will happily sit for hours thinking of way's to improve the forum and make it more user friendly etc etc, so why don't you come a long and drop in. We are only one click away and hey you could alway's join the session thats hosted almost every night. The flights are not dumb flights either many people have joined the session and asked if it will be up again because we try to make the session as real to life as possible.
Flying from airport to airport, distance is a minor factor and if enough time we will happily fly to other countries, the starting location is alway's Heathrow in London or EGLL for the airports ID code, from their its a shortish hope to Manchester EGCC, and so on and so forth.
Perhaps we will even start our own virtual airline one day, but for now we are all their for fun and don't need a VA to make the session even more fun. So come and take a look at our forum and see if you like it, if you have FSX or any other flight simulator then this forum might help you out. Just take that one step and click on This Link You know you want to .

We now have over 1000 articals, 18 members and loads of pictures and video
s been uploaded the forum from our session as we fly around the world. Thats right we are now starting a tour of the world so if you have Microsoft Flight Simulator X (FSX) then come and join us in the session, the session is up every night and Gamespy the hosts of FSX is free to use and easy.
We have been flying for more than 3 months now and every day our sessions gets bigger and bigger with more people joining or coming back for more flights, we have already been told by many that its the best session on FSX for months and these people have now become regulars giving out tips to new pilots and helping those who aren't sure with some things like autopilot functions etc.
We fly anything, there is no rules to what plane(s) you use as long as it can fly at the speeds we fly at which is normally around 330 knots, we do follow avations rules and keep our speed at 250 knots bellow 10,000ft and increase to 330 knots once above 10,000ft, we try to make the flight as real as it gets giving constructive feedback on each other's take off, flying and landing skills.
Now i'm not the best at landing i will admit that now but i continue to work at it and with each landing i do my skill improves a little and my experience increases. The point is even though i can't land a Boeing 747 that well i keep trying and its getting better. It doesn't matter if you experienced or new to FSX or any flight sim we welcome anyone and everyone into our ever growing session.
Like i said we are now doing a world tour and we are now touring the USA, and then we will move on to Canada and then South America etc etc till we have been all around the world, if you live near an airport we will happily add it to the flight plane if its runway(s) can handle jumbo jets landing on it, we even go to places that jumbo jets don't normally try to land.
Once such place is in the alpes, its a difficult airport to land at because its in a canyan sume 7000 ft deep, with 2 way's in and out, the runway also offer a challange as its only just over 4000 ft long but never the less all of us in our big jets have landed on it, even in the new A380 the worlds beggist passanger airliner.
So grab your FSX and install it if you haven't already and come join us in the session but before you do that it would be a good idea to register at our forum http://flightsimforum.myfanforum.org/index.php since you will need to know all the main things about the session like rules, which are basic rules like keeping the runway's clear at all times etc etc.
So come and fly with us, best wishes
Roy.
