hi since this is going to be interal in my private member site i wanted to try to limit outward links as much as possible, i will leave several on to give recognition to those that worked hard on this, and i will leave a one link at the bottom as stated in the footer but  i would like to remove the very bottom lines of the page that say "create your own free forum" and "buy a domain to use with your forum"

i looked in the footers and the headers and the index and could not find them, first may i remove them and second what file are they in please...

They are part of the server forum set, so you can't really remove it.

Though I do believe it goes away if you pay for ad-free.

You can't really expect a company to offer a free service without giving a link back to their own site.

So with the exception of the ad-free purchase (use the "site shop" link on the left) I don't believe you can remove it.

ok thanks so much, yeah i appreciate the link issue i know we all need it but i just trying to manage it is all, even if i could just shrink it down to a lower font would be cool too...

the bottom links have  class="feature" so you can use css to control the appearance. But you cannot abuse this, make the links disappear and you will be breaking the rule and find your forum suspended.
You can though alter size and color within reason.

thanks and understood, ill respect that totally, appreciate that... they seem to be about 1.5 or 2 em so i will prob just do like a 1 em if it looks to small i will crank it back up and leave it... appreciate that...

so you saying in the myfs css down toward the bottom where it  says footer and stuff i would put

 .features {font-size:1.0em;}

that should do it right

actually did you just lower them on your end, they seem smaller mmmmmm, that looks great if you did thanks so much..
