domain checkerA few points
there is no link anywhere on the main home page of myfreeforum.org for this http://myfreeforum.org/
there is no link on the home page http://forum.myfreeforum.org/index.html
And you have to dig deep to find a link on here
Anyway to my question
i find it strange that when you change dns records that the http:// shows but the www. doesn't
I just set up a new domain and pointed it to a forum here, the http:// leads to the suspend page the www. still links to the hosts holding page.
I checked on the dns checker and got green all the way expect got amber as only had 2 records instead of 4
domain name of www.symonfield.co.uk

http://www.symonfield.co.uk/
takes me to the suspended page. Local caches can have a big effect.

I don't know what you mean by this? If you mean that when you enter a domain to be tested both http:// and www are removed from the name, so that the actual domain gets tested, then to me that makes sense.
Links do need sorting.

It must be local cache then
As i type in http:// into the address bar and get to suspend page but type in www. and get to holding hosts.
I didnt mean when checking with domain checker srry was a little foggy with my post.
But why we are here could you map
www.symonfield.co.uk
to
http://symon.myfunforum.org
Please
And then if poss what we spoke about a while ago but insted of admin make it symon (thread in office.)

Bad terminology! http:// is just a protocol, what you mean is you type in:
http://symonfield.co.uk/
rather than
http://www.symonfield.co.uk/
either of them get me to the suspended page.
now mapped anyway.
