The human brain doesnt understand negatives, it filters them out...so if I said to you 'don't think of a pink balloon'...your brain would filter the negative 'don't' out and will process 'think of a pink balloon'.
Thats why whenever you say 'don't look now but that girl is checking you out' the person you said it to will immediately 'look now'
