Diversity BroadcastbarHello,
I have some news for you about my new forum, with access details at the bottom.
As I am now at University and am a student on the autistic spectrum I thought it would be a good idea to provide an online portal for autistic students. However, I do not want it just to be confined to this group of people, and wish to create a forum that appeals to all who are interested in the spectrum, whether they have a diagnosis or not.
You could be a student in another department, someone who knows a person with autism, in the medical profession or a parent of an autistic student for example. This forum will serve as a pilot scheme towards the creation of a society at University of Sheffield for students on the autistic spectrum in time for Intro week in September 2008.* This society will hopefully be under the name 'DIVERSITY'.
The title of the forum is 'Diversity Broadcastbar'. Opening times are 24 hours, 7 days a week
The forum will be moderated as best it can. The busier it gets, the more moderators that will be needed. You can talk about anything sensible thats within the forum rules, it doesnt just have to be related to the autistic spectrum.
If you wish to join Diversity Broadcastbar, please access www.broadcastbar.myfreeforum.org now. It is free of charge to join. Please appreciate this is a new forum and it may be quiet during the early months of it being online.
If you have anything to ask about Diversity Broadcastbar, or any opinions on the University society idea, I would be happy to hear from you. Please get in touch.
Thank You
Chris J.
* The creation of such a society will depend on approval by the Student Union.
