Delete forum...Will it automatically delete my forum if I have removerd all posts/topics and if I'm the only member in it?
Do you have to "disable the forum" and if so how?

Given time yes, you can also disable the forum in the admin panel. this will speed things up.

Disable board
This will make the board unavailable to users. Administrators are able to access the Administration Panel while the board is disabled.
