DefamationThere seems to be a person impersonating me with my full name and town. I would like to have this information removed. The are several members who are posting slanderous information before this on this particular forum. I would like you to remove this or if you are not I will seek legal advise including a defamation charge and will take the information to the court to have defamation charges filed and a subpoena issued to find the person responsible. You would seriously have to give more information than that,, your name on here is A now i might be able to guess at which posts you are on about but we need to be sure.
Also threatening legal action is never a sure way to sort things out, first off you need to speak to the forum owner and ask them to have the posts removed. Then if they refuse you can send the information to Admin who will look at your complaint. Also how do we know that you are who you say you are and that the poster is not the real MCcoy ? Please provide more proof and the conversation between you and the forum`s Admin. |

I am not threatening anything sorry, I am posting options if this does not provide remedy. You can check my profile and my email if you like (my email is my name) or I can speak with someone in a private email or PM to provide the information that this is the real person and the other is impersonated (do not want to post this in open air forum). I am not sure if the IP can be checked some how. The forum operator will not remove anything because I have had a previous conversation with him before (mid 2008). It's an anything goes place. My name is Aaron and the impersonator as the link posted is using my full legal name Aaron Combs with my town. The opinions if found by search engine by name can be used by my employer to remove me for "conduct unbecoming". It is important to have these inflammatory statements removed. Thank you and you can reach me by PM and will be glad to give any info anyone in Administration needs. |

hmmm, 26 hours isn't really much time in my opinion as not everyone gets online every day, that could just be my opinion, but i'm not sure enough time was allowed here.

The guy who runs our "home" is a dairy farmer so he don't get back real quick . We are a bunch of outcasts from differtent tractor sites that are way over moderated . Our leader believes in free speech and doesn't interfere are group keeps getting bigger and bigger . A lot of us come from Red Power Magazine Forum a site that has gone to shit with a bunch of suck asses like Aaron . Little mister inocent Aaron has threatened to do bodily harm to me and another member cause we don't agree with his union BS . A new member that had not posted at RPMF in over 2 months said something about Aaron being a know it all and Aaron brought it back to RPMF and started a fracass over there that resulted in a bunch of us getting kicked off RPMF . this is a vendetta started by one ass hole cause we don't suck his ass . Think about it a bit,over 1 million posts and suddenly 2 guys complain and get the boad shut down. Did you think anyone would be happy with you? I wonder,if it was such a secret how did they get your name anyway? The whole board is a bunch of farm boys,we got along fine without you but you insisted on getting us set strait. I would like you guys to reconsider,their is no way that a board can make everyone happy and after a million posts we find 2 guys that want to complain.
Our leader is a busy guy and is not always there,we have heated debates that hurt no one. Half of the guys I argue with there send emails to me and I to them,it is like a big dysfunctional family. Now what will we do??? |

I was actually hoping you would come here and put across a valid argument/apology and win your forum back, I have seen Admin re-instate many forums over the years after an admin has came and apologised. But a little warning, losing your temper and using bad language wont get you your board back as I have also seen over the years I have been here. |

I am the admin of tractors.myfreeforum.org. I'll try to lay it out as best as I can. The truth is we were most definatley in violation of the terms of use. Have been since I started the board back on December 8, 2005. As a matter of fact, that is one the reasons I started the board. That may sound strange. See, by having a board that people can feel free to say whatever they want without fear of banning or deleted posts, we were keeping the "clean" sites clean. Since people could come to our site to vent whatever issues they have, they did, and kept it off other sites. As far as falsifying identies goes. The person who started this mess...."A".... has had it in for the board for a long time. How was I supposed to know it wasn't him behind the whole thing? All it would take is a phone call to a friend in another state, that freind makes soem derogatory posts on our board and "A" jumps on the chance to finally shut us down. After all, all I have access to is an IP address. It's not like I can get personal information from it. Even if I could, what good would it do me? I make no apologies for running the board the way I did. I do however feel sorry for the mulitiude of people who made new friends and have now lost contact due to one person's personal vendetta. Because of this I will respectfully ask you to reinstate the board. If you do, I will start to moderate it. As a matter of fact, I HAVE removed things in the past. Chad |

You must remove the identity theft issue. Any user name in someones actual name, when that is known to be false (as it clearly was known) is plainly unacceptable. I would also appreciate some moderation. |
