Hello, I've banned this guy tones of times, but he has a dynamic IPs, he keeps returning to post insults/spam/porn on my forum, how do I permanently ban someone with a dynamic IP address without banning other innocent users.


If that's not possible(God I hope it is) is it possible for me to set something up in a way that newly register users can't post on the forum unless they send me a personal message introducing themselves to me before I grant them posting privileges?


A 3rd thing i was thinking is to make all my existing members mods on the forum, then the newly registered members will not be mods, then they PM me if they want to post on the forum.

You should be able to select his name in the members section of the controll panel and then from there ban his name or delete him.

lol that won't stop him, he can change his IP at will all he needs to do is make a new username and email(he does that because i ban the username and the email along with the IP he used to re register on the forum.

Use the moderation portal to place all new members on moderation.

Hello my friend I once had a Guy register to my site with weird website addresses as his username and email addresses as passwords all I do is simply delete these ediots and they leave you alone for a few weeks then come back again thankfully they havent bothered me again however if they do just simply get rid of them again as these ediots are simply only wasting thier own time filling the registration form out and all it takes is one click of the mouse and these clowns are gone hope you get everything sorted  I simply set my forum to Admin and any new users registering I get sent the email I then go to control panel to check the new users details if its not the proper username and passwords delete them Best of Luck  hope all goes well for you
