davecov discovered a small bug in the new macros last night, which ended up resolved quite easily, but was effecting a quite obscure part of the forums.
This has fed my growing concern over the last few days that a little too much is going in, too quickly.
It really is not a good idea to risk system stability to get minor hacks in fast.

So the new plot is:

This week: Work on the management and new stats systems.
Next week: Vacation - support will still be there.
Week after: Work starts again on forum hacks.

My initial thought that something would need changing by users proved wrong, at least for now. It was a system variable mainly at fault, though I imagine that a more minor bug, e.g. the welcome message would be wrong when you are emailing someone with the internal email would still be there
We can probably live with that one though.
