Converting From a Non- MyFF Forum is it possible?Hi there we have currently got over 3,000+ Forums with 42 members, and was wondering if it is possible to convert to you guys from an IPBFREE forum and if so how, and if not why not please?Thanks, Warren |

sorry there is no import utility I know of that can do that conversion. | ||

So Basically If I start a forum, I'd have to do it from scratch then, and do you happen to know if any other staff member will know about an import utility to convert to here, or would I have to do it manually? Thanks in advance, Warren. P.S I had a Forum Ages ago, like a year ago, is there anything new besides phpbb3? |

Just do a web search and see if you can find a converter! I could not.
when looking at forum tech, don't get lost in it! forums are about the posts and not the latest tech. If you look through our phpbb3 support sections you will see the pain of people at the bleeding edge. We offer more in phpbb2 than phpbb3 has going for it, and it is stable and easier to use. You can always "upgrade" later... a lot lot later if you ask me.. like maybe a year or two from now. At least that is that I would say if you want to run a forum about members and posts, as opposed to playing with the tech. |

the converter seems rough to me tbh, may still do the trick, last option would be to setup the new forum and mass email members the new address. |
