Chat Box [Location: Footer] (From: yellbox.com)http://scmt.myfastforum.org/index.php
Chat Box, Help Chat Box, Get Chat Box.
I am trying to add a text box with the html yellbox.com has provided. I did look up the tutorial on how-to do this, but it was very unhelpful. If someone could please post step-by-step on how-to, this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The tutorials are written do be as accessible as we can write them.
If you have a problem with a tutorial then provide a link to it, and tell us what you don't understand. Otherwise all anyone can do is tell you the exact same thing as the tutorial does.

Located here are four links to Chat Boxes, and three other "Getting Started" (If that's how you would classify them.) links.
- I have received the HTML as stated above from yellbox.
- I click the "Here" link. Which is 'quote' "What you have to remember is that some chat boxes do not like to be put in a forum description so it is best to add them to the forum footer read more on forum footer".
- Then it talks about the html tags I will be needing. 'Quote' "Also you will have to allow html tags in your profile and forum config read more".
- I am confused on the part where it show's me how to put my html into the footer.
- If I am misunderstanding the meaning of the is said at this link, please correct me, I am sometimes slow; thanks.
Very much thanks in advance.

It's best to copy and paste the parts you don't understand, rather than rewriting them in your own words.
From what I can understand of what you are asking...
A chatbox CAN be placed in a forum description (though this is not recommended). A chatbox is best placed in the template itself. you will need a style you can edit for this (if you do not know how to edit a style then you need to use a guide for this).
Placing the chatbox in the overall_header or overall_footer will place the chatbox at the top or bottom (respectively) on each page. Placing the chatbox in the index.html will place the chatbox only on the front page, you can also create a new page for the chatbox if you wish for a chat page (make sure you place the code in the 'source' not the wysiwyg editor).
And remember, where you place the chatbox in the code determines where it shows up on the page. If you have no idea what to do when you see the page, you might want to learn a little HTML.

Sorry I'm late to reply, my computer broke and I just got back up. I will be updating it soon to get it back upto date but otherwise all I have right now is GChrome.
@Zundane: Sorry for not posting, but didn't think I should because there was like one line of text per post. So how would I edit this template? Thanks in advance.

I've given just about as much detail as I can without doing it for you.
It's best to learn HTML before editing your own templates, or find someone that will do the work for you (preferably copy/paste the code to them rather than giving admin access). This is a support forum, but template editing is what people get paid to do.
