Hi I'm scottish-jim. My name is jim and I'm scottish [go figure eh]  

Anyway, myself and a friend are into lots of different motorsports and so we decided to start a forum to try and raise awareness of local club-level motorsport events in and around the yorkshire and humberside areas.

Seems to be going reaonably well since it started on the 17th April so I now need to start thinking of attracting more members.

So far I've emailed some car clubs and I'm just about to print off a flyer for me and my mate to pass around at events. I've also put a little advert video up on youtube [Am I allowed to say youtube?] CAR AND MOTORSPORT ADVERT which has had over 140 views so far.

Just checked out your motorsport forum. Looks great to someone like me who knows very little about motorsport and lives a long way from Yorkshire. London boy now living in Ukraine.

Typos are easy to miss. I've learnt to preview, preview, preview and then preview before posting anything these days  

Still think your forum description would look better as a scrolling marquee   Scrolling text <marquee>

Not sure about the link exchange:

I've no idea how to do it but that hasn't stopped me yet. Well nearly once in a bleary eyed and tired moment.  

Might not be relevant to the members and guests on my forum.

Just finished re-vamping the look of my forum based on the fiblack3dblue template.

I'm quite pleased with it. Just waiting to see what my members think
