can you exclude certain areas from searcheshttp://homeandaway.myfastforum.org/Hello, I have been searching but I keep just finding PM questions. I have a staff area which is only viewable by moderators and I was wondering if it is possible to stop threads in that area from showing up in the "latest posts" & "popular topics" portals. |

Such things will only show up to those with the priviiige to see them. |

And just to be clear... You can edit the portal settings in the ACP. There is an option to search either the Portal forums or All forums. Searching the portal forums searches only the forums listed in the box below it (goes by forum numbers).
This can easily limit it to only a few certain forums or to exclude some certain forums. |
