As i'm here and my first problem has been fixed I may as well ask about my next issue...

I have copied the black pearl template and added my own custom logo/banner that goes across the top of the page; for some reason it leaves a space to the right hand side of the logo and it wont fill the whole box.  I have adjusted the width of the image and it does nothing but stretch the actual picture whilst not actually filling the space.

Is there perhaps a way to reduce the width of the background so that the logo sits flush?

Many thanks
Nick(NR)

not really an issue, but how they designed the template, if you noticed before you edited you had text in the middle and a logo emlbem thing on either side of the text, this is because the designer of the template made it like that, open up your overall_header.html file and look for something like this:

:note the image address may be something different, but nothing to worry about:

Code:
<div id="top_logo">
<table width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0">
<tr>
<td height="150" align="left" valign="middle"><a href="{U_INDEX}"><img src="./styles/talkinggeek.myfreeforum.org6/imageset/sitelogo_small.png" width="942" height="175" alt="logo"  /></a></td>
this line ->>  <td align="center" valign="middle"><h1></h1><span class="gen"></span></td>
this line ->>  <td align="right" valign="top">&nbsp;</td>
</tr>
</table>
</div>

just take out the align="left" from the first
Code:
<td>
line and remove the last two
Code:
<td>
lines

I've highlighted which lines to take out by putting this line ->>  in the section of code above

You still have a ->>
Code:
</span></td>
in there that may break your tables on some pages.

that last bit should be it.

Code:
<div id="top_logo">
<table width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0">
<tr>
<td height="150" valign="middle"><a href="./index.php"><img src="./styles/talkinggeek.myfreeforum.org6/imageset/sitelogo_small.png" width="942" height="175" alt="" title="" /></a></td>

this bit ->> </span></td>

</tr>
</table>
</div>
