Am having problems with Smilies....too many on Post Page

Hello, this is my very first post here.

I have searched all over at this forum and howtodit, so I am now asking for help.

My forum page is....http://wahsupport.myfastforum.org/index.php

I have used several word combos to find my answers, so, too many to mention here.

I have just started my new forum and so far, so good, but, here is my issue.

When I started my new Forum, I added all the Smilies I could find, those on the Smilies Pak...now, I have tons and tons of Smilies.

The thing is, now, my Posting Pages are flooded with Smilies, I was hoping t be able to keep most of them, is there a way I can just shrink the sizes of them, or have a link of some sorts to say..."click here for more Smilies.."?

Thanks for any and all help.

Mary Beth/Persy.....

The default has the click for more smilies button.  if they are all on the posting page, then go to the smiley tab in the admin control panel... and scroll to the bottom for edit smileys.

Look for the boxes under "show on posting page".  If that is checked - then it shows on the posting page, if it is not checked then it shows in the pop-up window.

Uncheck ones you don't want listed on the posting page and hit submit.

If you click on this, you will see exactly what I am talking about.

I went to the Smilies area in ACP...I tried your suggestions, but, I keep getting the "no smilies were added".

Thank you again,
Mary Beth/Persy...

Are you doing add smileys, or edit smileys?

And by the way, when posting links make sure they are guest viewable.
Persy

I added Smilies...not the edit Smilies, oh, sorry bout not doing the Guest Available, I am just now starting and I really do not have much of a clue as to what I am doing...

The link is still not guest viewable.

If you have added too many smilies then why not remove some?
Persy

Hello

I am sorry for that, I just posted the reply and have not figured out how to make the link guest viewable as of yet.

Good idea, I can remove some, as soon as I can figure out how to do that, also, if there a link to so that I can have the Smilies there and then "click for more emoticons".....?

Thank you,
Mary Beth
