Admin user pm box sizeGeneral phpbb2 questions...
Would it be possible for Admin's on the (my) forums have bigger pm boxes?
We are 2 admins on my forum and with all the work that goes with that our pm inbox's are very full. Much of which we'd like to keep...
Thanks

Could it be made bigger for all?

Admin Control Panel > 2. General > Configuration > Scroll Down the page and you should see "Private Messaging".
I believe the setting you want are there.

and I have it set to the max. Unless it's gone up since I last changed it?

You can adjust the max amount your forum uses in there. Unless you mean you need more than 500. Then ask admin about that.

Yep, hit 500
Can tidy some out and will do.

WORDPAD, unfortunately, bare in mind pm's that are store will be held in the database in the same way normal posts are, all of this adds to the overall size of a forums database, and while 2 admins inboxs being maxxed wouldn't be a big deal, overextending the boundary for all members to allow two people more room is over kill.

I agree with nick completely.
Also as a heads up, maybe it's just me but when I visit your page I cannot view the forum logo/photos you have at the top. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Also noticed no ad's at the top.
Nice site though

you should change you template, make the images load from "./audisrsbannerblue.jpg" rather than "http://audisrs.com/audisrsbannerblue.jpg"
Generally the MFF servers don't allow hotlinking, so you can only use them on the same domain (loading audisrs.com from audisrs.myfastforum.org would be considered hotlinking - different domains). Of course, if you have viewed the images already then they will load from your cache - but that is just for you.
loading from "./audisrsbannerblue.jpg" would just look in the base folder for your current domain.

Ok thanks
Not been a problem up to now. Has something changed?

There should not be an issue with hotlinking. But of course we always reserve the right to stop hotlink if it becomes a problem.

I was thinking it should be fine. Else all the [ IMG ] links to photobucket etc in forum posts wouldn't work.
If it's better to do ./ I'll change them though

links to other sites are always ok, it is trying to show myff stuff on OTHER sites that may fall foul of hotlink preventing should we enforce it.
