key words searched on: Admin account removed,  Adding an Admin

Today my wife mistakenly deleted my admin account for the forum, thinking that it was some sort of spam email.
I was just wondering if it would be at all possible to either retrieve the account, or if not, would it be possible to give admin/moderator status to the user named thumbboy

I am happy to pay you via paypal if this can be resolved.

You should be able to login to the control panel here:

http://myfreeforum.org/index.php?...amp;task=loginforum&Itemid=27

and restore the admin account from there.

hi,
I tried that but got the following error message:



I can't find a space to enter the username and password details that it is asking for.
When I type in the forum admin name thumbboy and click save forum changes, it doesn't save the change.

have you entered a password in the Password tab? The password tab is visible in the screenshot to the left of the admin tab.
