Adding new members

Hey ya'll! So, I had the members set to "admin" for the first 5 members to sign up. It's now "user" but I still have those 5 who signed up previously. Problem is it told them I (admin) would get an email saying I would have to activate them. I haven't. I"ve also searched the site not finding anything about activation.
I'm a newbie so please advise.

You can activate members under use management, you don't need the email.

Check your "junk" settings  to see if activation emails are getting classed as spam.

Ok. care to tell me how to do that? The activating under the site part?

One of the options for a member under users/management is "User is active" Forum Index -> Running your community
