Hello. I attempted to search, but all i could find was PhpBB2 info, and I wanted to double check before trying it on my PhpBB3 forum.

I would like to add a side bar to the side of my forum that has multiple tables where I can put various information about the site, as it is a roleplaying forum. How would I go about modifying the template to add that in on the side of the forum?

I think you could explore portals, these could possibly serve your needs depending on what sort of information you need on there:

Howtodoit: http://howtodoit.myfastforum.org/index.php?c=16
Portalogy: http://portalogy.myfastforum.org/
Noxrame

those sites are both for PhpBB2, so the set up isn't exactly the same. the portalogy site has a link to a PhpBB3 version, but it is broken, as it says the site doesn't exist.

I don't know enough about coding, and don't want to risk breaking my site by attempting to use PhpBB2 methods.

I linked to the phpbb3 version of howtodoit.
