I have noticed over the past two weeks that there are times when the Admin Control Panel just plain does not load up. If I had been logged out or something, I can click on the link at the bottom of the page and it lets me put in my password and all, but then just does not load the actual ACP. I can go to all other pages and post and whatever else I want, but if I try to go to the ACP, it just does not load. It has not been an one time deal, either, but happens about a quarter of the time I am wanting to use it. Usually, after an hour or two, I can get into it, but that is frustrating because I sometimes have work I need to do and cannot.

I have tried multiple connections and all are good, so it is not the connections or server. I can post and the site functions properly during these dead times. I also can go onto various mod functions like post details, and the moderator control panel. I do not know if this is something that others experience or if it is just me. I debated about putting this up because I know I have already posted many questions, but I cannot get into my ACP and I was planning on doing some work with the styles so I am rather perturbed about it.

I have just logged in as you and got to the ACP without issue.

So it looks like it may be your end somewhere, have you cleared cookies?

Wow, you can actually log in as one of our accounts? I did not know that.

It is not always present. As I said, sometimes it works great, other times it refuses to load up. It does not happen at any particular time of the day or week (which would be explained by a server backup or something), but happens randomly at all times of the day and night. I have cleared cookies and all cashes and stuff. I have also been on many different computers on many different internet connections and IP's.

If it is just my site, that is no big deal I will just have to live with it. I was mainly wondering if this was something that others experienced. Could it possibly be a phpBB3 thing since I believe you have stated that you use phpBB2 for your main forums.

We clearly do need to be able to see things as the user does and so can login to peoples forums as them. This is only done if there is a clear need.

The support forum is on phpbb2, but there is a phpbb3 version of it, and obviously I go into phpbb3 admin panels quite a lot.

I have not seen your problem, but it does not totally surprise me. phpbb3 is still very much in its infancy, and has issues that need fixing.

3.01 had vast numbers of changes to 3.00 and no doubt 3.02 will see a lot more....
