Hacking is an ongoing issue with forums It applies whether you are maintaining one forums or 10,000, and on some levels the work involved is close to the same order of magnitude whether you are protecting 1 or 10,000.

In the last few days we have taken 8 new measures over and above standard phpbb upgrades to try and add a bit more to our own anti-hacking defenses. If you run a forum you either have to think about these things, or have someone else doing it on your behalf!
