A question about "proxy IP's"I read in another post that IP's are shared, and a person can have many. Most of my members have one or two at the most depending on whether they post from home or work. I do however have 3 "members" that share an IP even though they are several states away from each other. I found that they are also using proxy IP's, which makes me wonder whether or not they are actually different people. Is there a way to not allow proxy IPs? Am I being paranoid

You can't ban proxies, they don't look different to other ips to the forums.
proxies are perfectly normal for people to be using and there is not a lot of rhyme and reason to the area they cover.
of course it might be your users are a problem, but if so there actions are what matters, admin paranoia will not help.
