Enter your myff forum url here (or link to your specific problem) :

Please indicate keywords you have searched on:

Now ask your question in clear English without "txt" speak>>>>

I am following this:

http://howtodoit.myfreeforum.org/about628.html&highlight=karma

I don't understand   I have put  ranks/Hearts/rankl{postrow.KARMA}.gif  as the image.

KARMA
KARMA_TOTAL
KARMA_COUNT

I put this in the viewtopic_body.tpl:

Code:
<a href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="window.open('addrating.php?userid={postrow.POSTER_ID}&amp;component=KARMA', '_addrating', 'resizable=yes,width=500,height=360')">Add Karma</a>

<img src="ranks/Hearts/rankl{postrow.KARMA}.gif">

It does't show up with the image. Its the red cross. What am I doing wrong and where do I place the image code?

# You must give the (myfree/myfast/myfine)forum.org link to your forum. A link should be given to the problem if at all possible. Do this whether you think it is important or not.

Still not following the checklist. Why not do as asked and :

1) Give the myff link not your own domain.
2) A link to the actual problem. Which would save people trying to find a topic showing the issue.

ranks/Hearts/rankl{postrow.KARMA}.gif ?

I replaced that. The only place I put this code is in the profile feilds and I put that new code in and it messes it up even more.

If you are putting that code both actually in the profile field as well as in the template, then it is not surprising things are messed up.

This whole support thread could probably have been solved without you even asking a question, if you had just done what you still have not done and posted not just the code in the template, but a screenshot of how you have defined the profile field. I bet that if you look at that and the code then the error will be obvious.

Yet another successful fix and a happy customer here I see Admin??

I'm seeing a pattern here - are you at all willing to work with customers here, or are they just an inconvenient hazard of the job to you? Your approach to them really does need work mate.

I've spent a few hours reading these boards now, and they are absolutely littered with half-finished and ultimately unfulfilled threads like this, where the person requesting help just thinks sod it, I'm getting nowhere here, and just gives up.

With the best will in the world, you have got to see that this approach is ultimately damaging for your own personal reputation on these boards, and MFF's in general??

Do your superiors know that you get away with this behaviour and attitude?

End of thread trolling will not be tolerated.
