The Airfix Tribute Forum was set up when the official Airfix forum closing down in April last year. The forum discusses model making, not just Airfix kits but other manufacturers kits too. Ages of forum members range from 10 to 70-plus years with a wide range of modelling skills which members are only too keen to pass on to each other. A large proportion of our membership are those just returning to the hobby after a gap of 20-30 years or so. Members are also encouraged to post pictures of their builds, either underway or completed. Apart from nattering about and building models, we are also creating a very valuable online resource for anybody interested in the history of Airfix kits. We hold various activities to raise money for our chosen charities and we also organise museum trips etc. Our efforts have been rewarded with us having a very close dialogue with Airfix who are only too happy to give us exclusive interviews, information etc, which often appears for the first time on our forum. You won't find many bells and whistles on the forum as it's design has been kept simple so that we can concentrate on content which has recently passed 53,000 posts from a membership of 575 members.
