I got the current time thing up but it streches all the way across the screen. How do I make it small like the one here? www.hickorymoms.myfreeforum.org I am also getting fed up with trying to figure out the random image thing. I have read and read and tried and tried and tried some more on getting it up and no luck. What am I doing wrong? How come no one will help me? the above site has one but I can't figure it out. I asked them as I am on that forum but they can't remember what they did. In fact she has tried to help me but with no luck as well. PLEASE help me get this box up. I do want to learn and that is why I came here. I new I may be able to get help. But I have tried everything. what I am doing is going to the edit temp and then going to the bottom box and clicking on the randomimage.tpl thing and hit submit to get a code. I then go and put it in the overall header and hit submit but it eitehr makes my page white or it shows text instead of a box for my pictures. am i doing it wrong? I honestly learn better with help. I only get frustrated trying to figure it out on my own. bI know it is only an extra but I am trying to get my forum like the other because we are all part of t he same type of "branch". _________________ www.bedfordmoms.myfreeforum.org www.hickorymoms.myfreeforum.org

Current time seems to be fixed , as its a normal size portal..

As for random image it is as easy as adding adding

so go to overall header find your portal codes that may look like this

Ok just looked again and your not using portals, so just add

to your overall header , where you wish it to show.

Okay so I tried it the way you said and nothing happens. It makes my frum look white with no type of design. well okay it isn't blue anymore and has no "box" look to it. would you be willing to sing in as me and look to see if anything is screwed up or not done right? I would be more th an willing for someone to look around for me and see what might be going on. The girl who did the one on Hickory Moms says she can't figure out what happened either. she has tried to add it to mine as well and doesn't know what happened. right now I put in the code that looks like this:

Well that madae my forum look white.

And if I put in this code:

It shows this on the screen. I tried putting in what you said, The {MYFF.RANDOMIMAGE} and it shows that as well. But those are the things I have tried so far.

as far as I am aware that is taken from the export option in the portals, it is not for entering anywhere

All you should need is to put {MYFF.RANDOMIMAGE} in overall_header.tpl and then edit cms_randomimage.tpl to your liking.

I just noticed I have two randomimage.tpl's. One looks like this when you click submit:
